I just have to say after working on this total pile of crap, it is withoug a doubt the most poorly assembled vehicle i have ever had the misfortune to be stuck fixing. The idea that the powertrain might have to be repaired at some point had apparently never occured to the assholes who engineered this abortion. To wit, did all of you losers who thought you bought a real jag consider the fact a real one starts at twice the price of this pile? I noticed a few questions about the manual trans on this car, did you know it's a Mazda trans? This car is as much a jag as a 914 is a Porsche. Here's another interesting tibit I picked up at the intro class at jag, did you know that the intended life span of this abortion is 10 years, or 100 thousand miles? This poor assembly is pure Ford through and through, those who say different haven't looked very hard, it's stamped all over the vehicle. My last point is the people who own the real thing don't waste their time pisssing about trying to diagnose problems that don't exist. You want a perfect Jaguar? spend the money and get the real thing. Want to really convince the tecnician that works on your car you're an asshole? Tell him how to make your pile of crap perfect, it never will be, because it's nothing more than an poor idea. One last feel good thought, any minor engine or trans work requires that the entire drive pack be removed from the car, out of warranty that's at least 10 hours of labor just to get to the problem, now how are all of you losers going to afford that? Once these cars are out of warranty they will be halfway through their intended life span and nobody will be able to afford the cost of fixing them, nice investement that, just like a XKE, right?
Well, yes, A JAG is a JAG and if you bought it from a JAG dealer, then it is in a legal and formal and engineering sense a R-E-A-L JAG no matter what is stamped on the parts and no matter what you believe. On the other hand you may have a small brain and be clueless, but there is a global economy now. Parts for complex products come from everywhere. Is that so hard for you to comprehend? If you don't like JAG products, that's OK with me. But please don't forget to take your medications. You know how you act without them.
