But certainly don't go back to a dealership that is so concerned with forcing a car on you (closing a sale) that they will fudge the boundries of honesty.
If you are up closer to Hollywood, I have another dealer there that seemed to be VERY willing to work with people. Let me know and I can dig up a contact. I just thought Tom was upfront and nice.
Oh, and I did have a few dealerships that offered to "loan" me an X-type for a few days to make sure that was really the direction I wanted to go with my purchase. I didn't take them up on it, as I wound up buying elsewhere and I didn't feel comfortable taking advantage of a dealer's goodwill if it wasn't to be worth his while later on. But it isn't unheard of to loan out the cars for and "extened" over night(s) test drive.
Be sure to let us know when you buy the 2003! Post a few pictures. I'm sure a few of us will have just a little envy that you have 1 model year newer than us! ;)
