Hi everyone,
Well, I went to look at my ordered car. I loved the Emerald green outside, but
instead of the Sand inside, I recieved Ivory. I do not like the Ivory!!! The
manager told me that they were suprised as I was regarding the interior color
change. He said that Jaguar has the right to change anything without notice. I
did not know that. I always saw the Sand on the Jaguar site, even today. The
manager said he would sell me at cost. The cost however, doesn't agree with what
ever is on the net (Edmunds, etc.) When I showed them what I found on the
internet, the manager said that those were old invoices. Well, I am not going to
accept the car. I drove the car and can't get used to the ivory. I feel I should
have been told. Don't you think the dealership should have known of the color
change? The problem is, Jaguar quit making Emerald as well as 2002's. I
originally ordered X1, Nav, Emerald w/Sand. If I re-order, I would have to wait
until August or October to get my car with those specs. I am going to go to
another dealership. Anyway, thanks for everyone's response. Of course, I welcome
and appreciate everyone's response'
~Marcy
