I have.

Is there anyway to get the fuel door opened so I can put some gas in the car?

If there is someone with you have them keep pulling on the release by the driver's seat and you can pry the door open with your finger tips (at least I could with my car). I have been able to open the door myself by using the key to hold the release up while I pryed the door open.
