Please remember that almost all user equipment in the X-Type is connected via optical cable and communicates on a central CAN bus architecture. This is NOT traditional wiring and requires complex (expensive) software-driven components for full integration. The cabling carries encoded messages similar to your computer's serial cable, rather than analog voltages. The only aftermarket solution for adding/modifying stereo and telephone equipment is to run traditional wiring separately in the vehicle with its own separate controls. I do not believe aftermarket equipment can tap into any of the existing vehicle dash or wheel controls, and certainly not the NAV central touchscreen. This is the main reason you're stuck with the $2000 telephone if you want something fully integrated.

The absolutely best aftermarket gear you could offer is stereo upgrade pieces that will work with the Jaguar X-Type. There is nothing out there and no one even has the factory specs.

You could move a couple thousand units because the factory stuff is so weak.

Also, Wheels! There are not many good choices in aftermarket wheels for the X-Type. Everything I've been able to locate so far are ugly, outdated, or insanely priced.

Please let us know what you'll be offering.

Trying to move Jaguar products as one of our main lines, what kinda choices (aftermarket brand) that Jaguar have for US market? We will try to source it. Thanks for the help.
