TSB for Trunk Latch Issue (archive)

Hi All,
Jaguar has just issued a TSB for the Trunk Latch Issue, covers cars within the vin range of C0034-C64502.

This is from the Xtype group at Jag LoversJaguar has just released a TSB addressing the infamous trunk lock problem.
This affects vehicles within the vin range of C0034-C64502, Jaguar has a
revised trunk lid latch that is now available that can be retrofitted. The
TSB
is # XT501-04. It is a new bulletin, so your dealer may not have the parts
in
stock yet. Be sure to notify them of your concern so the needed parts can be
ordered. Please confirm with your dealer that they WILL be giving you a
free rental for the day. Insist on it. I did, and it is.
