When you got the loaner car, did you work through the service dept. or your dealer? Service set me up with a Mercury Sable, but when I worked with the dealer I got a Vanden Plas one time and an S-Type the other time (both full of gas).
Good luck, hang in there for me the features have always greatly outweighed the "quirks".
2. noise in rear panel behind back seat/passenger side
3. engine light came on/needed new fuel pump & sensors
4. seat moves on starts and stops. dealer tightened and
seat started clicking, dealer replaced seat frame and
seat cushion then started creaking like a rocking chair
dealer changed srings in seat, now its back to moving
on starts & stops.
5. weird noises from dash. Im not going to get into that
they would really mess stuff up if they disassembled
the dash.
6. front seats touch center console, by cupholder making
a rubbing noise.
7. dealer changed springs to try and get rid of rear panel
noise but now I get a really loud squaking noise from a
bushing. dealer has bushing on order.
8. Trunk latch sucks. Very bulky and clumsy locking system
pain in the butt to close trunk unless you slam it.
9. worst part, dealer b.s.ed me and said you get a jag as
a loaner when you come in for service.
