there are two phones (i discussed with dealer when ordering my car as i needed at&t). you can find detailed specs on carpoint.com and autosite.com.

where is the reference link?

I did a quick look through both us.jaguar.com and x-type.com for any info on the phones prior to posting, and I couldn't find any detailed info on the phones. Sometimes Jag doesn't make it easy to find anything other than the most general information.

But, I think my original statement still stands that unless they are selling two different phones, that it isn't possible. (It looks like Motorola is making flavors of the TimePort in GSM 1900, TDMA 800 & 1900, and CDMA 800 & 1900, but none of them have *both* TDMA and CDMA inside. That not only increases the size of the phone and power consumption, and I think licensing at Qualcomm would have something to say about that. (GSM will appear in multi-band phones.)) Therefore, if they offer both services, there must be different phones.

And my other statement about TDMA sucking, still also stands.
