Measured cabin noise in X, TL, and C320 (archive)

When consumer reports mentioned the cabin noise, I decided to measure the interior for myself. (I'm an Audio Engineer with too much time and test equipment)

I did not keep the results, but I measured from the passenger seat @ ear level in the x Type 2.5, the Acura TL and the C320.
I checked levels with the windows up, and climate control off. Each car was measured at idol,25, 45 and 65mph both coasting and accelarating. I found varations, but not enough to make a real difference. All of them were an order of magnitude better than our current cars!
