I was experiencing this problem as well. Right now my car is in the shop getting this problem as well as otherproblems fixed. The dealer stataed many people have complained about the clicking sound. I iwll let you know what I find out!


It sounds like the brake lock for the shifter is the culprit. It probably needs an adjustment or lubrication.

I have been experiencing a clicking noise on my J-shifter (automatic)everytime I release the brake. Is this normal?Does anybody else have the same experience?
