First off a Beamer is a BMW Motor Cycle, a Bimmer is a BMW Automobile.

Joe, I think we get it. (Maybe there'e a reason some say "BEEMER")

I grew up in San Francisco, where you learn very early not to call it "Frisco". Well, at age 30, I moved to L.A. ('eeeewww') and after realizing the snobbery of the Frisco crowd, I now call it "Frisco" every chance I can.

Like the saying goes, ".... 'em if they can't take a joke".

Personally, I don't hate BMW-the car; only BMW-the attitude.
