So it seems the wording is more like "Fuel Computer Data Error"

I just tested it and it came on. Then it magically said I had a 258 mile range. I was really going to get excited about the fuel consumption, but in a few minutes it jumped back down to 20.

I watched it drop down to about 17 before "Fuel Computer Data Error" came back on and stayed there until I filled it up.

Interestingly, when I filled it up and even "topped it off" the computer told me I had a range of 257 miles -- ONE mile LESS range than the erroneous 258 it made up when the tank was nearly empty.

Oh, and on a side note, I have been making about 15.6MPG fairly consistently. This is a 2.5 Sport Auto, and I have tried turning "sport mode" off and tried turning DCS off, but have't yet kept climate/AC off all the time.
