Just thought I would ask here to ensure that this behavior is standard. When I get low on fuel, the message centre reports a "Fuel System Error" (or something like that) and can no longer estimate remaining travel distance. This usually happens somewhere around the 40 miles left range and I think the message appears prior to the orange light turning on.

Is this the same for everyone else?
