Armond,

Check to see if your gas cap is on tight. If you added gas while your engine was running, or if you did not put your gas cap on tightly, it could cause the engine light to come on. If that is the cause of the light and you make sure your gas cap is on tight, the light should go off after your car is started several times. If it stays on after several cycles of starting your car, call your service department.

Started today, when driving to the store. The Engine Malfunction light came "on" and stayed on. I took the car home and parked it. I wanted to check if any-body on the board can give me some good advice or an answer to this problem.

The last thing I did was put gas yesturday, I filled it up. I had no problem driving it yesturday.
