You should have received a separate operation manual for the radio which contains the info on how to adjust the clock. Don't blame Jaguar for this one, maybe your dealer screwed up.

Thanks!!

This was originally posted by MikeP some time ago.

1. Press and hold the MODE button until TA VOLUME is displayed.
2. Repeatedly press & release the MODE button until CLOCK SET is displayed.
3. While the hour format is flashing, use the seek up/down keys to select
either 12 or 24 hour format.
4. Press & release the MODE button.
5. If the 12 hour format has been selected, use the # key to select AM or PM as
appropriate.
6. Using the keypad, enter the correct time. It should be noted that the clock
time must be entered as four digits e.g. 0325 or 1525, when in 12 or 24 hour
format.
7. To exit clock setting procedure, press & hold the MODE key until the display
reverts to audio mode.

I looked through ALL the manuals that came with my 2.5 and there was NOTHING in there about setting the clock............UNTIL I saw it on this site 2 days after I got the X back in Dec '01. Thank God I copied it down and saved it. It is EXACTLY as posted right above this. I like to personally set the Brit's "clock" straight who was responsible for leaving this info OUT of the manual. He/she was probably in the Pub at the time. Come on Brits, what were you thinking........first putting a cassette into the car in America...THEN no clock setting information. Outside of that and a few other minor irrations, since fixed, you Brits made an EXCELLENT car!!!
