I say all we unfortunates that got stuck with the cassette player start a campaign to convince Jaguar to upgrade to the in-dash CD at a reasonable price.

Considering that the earliest X-Type buyers didn't even get the $2100 incentive and that the in-dash CD is apparently standard issue on the 2003 X's....

If a hundred or so of us demand that Jaguar come through in the spirit of good-will with an upgrade in the $200 range, just maybe they'll do it.

(and they can keep the original cassette in trade!!!)

I'm sending my letter off this very weekend.

hey, I need my cassette player for my infant daughter's nursery tapes! I bought a 6 CD changer for my own music. :-)
