What the heck is a "meter"? One of those things we put quarters in at the side of the road, perhaps.
And 30 meters would probably only be about 10 feet back-to-back, assuming that they are about 4 inches thick. Of course if they are spaced about 15 feet apart down the street, then 30 of them would reach about 150 yards. That would be a considerable performance disadvantage I guess.
Last I looked, American (and British) roads are still officially measured in feet, yards and miles.
The difference between the "prototype" and the production X is over 30 meters.
