yes there is, you can get an s-type key made to fit the car. it is the same legnth and has the same transponder, but much smaller, your dealership may not want to order it, but i work for a jag dealership and i had one made for my uncles car, it works beautifully, you may have to ask for an s-type key and give them the key code that was on the back of your keys when you bought the car (remove and detach tag), it is a 6 digit number with numbers ranging from 1-4. again, the dealership may not want to order it, but IT WORKS, i have done it. i hope this helps. if u have any more questions, please email me.
As you all know, the X-type's key is integrated into the remote control. Is anyone aware of a smaller-version key that I can fit into my wallet?
