In another year I expect to see many more X-types on the road than S-Types. (As sales figures increase on the X.)

This will have a negative impact on re-sale of the car, which I just might *have* to do when the X-type R comes out. ;)

I would think that popularity would INCREASE resale value. It certainly hasn't had a negative impact on the resale value of the BMW3.
