A loaded TL Type S is $33K With Navigation and 260 HP. The 2003 CL Type S has a Six speed manual tranny.

We looked at Benz: Loved the "E", too expensive, "C" felt too low end.
Looked at the Acura TL: Not available with manual transmission, and more expensive than the X anyway.

We also went to an upscale used dealer to see just how different cars held up, this was very interesting. If you keep cars a long time I would recomend this. (The X is replacing a 1988 Acura Integra)
After about 10 years, Benz and Jag looked the best in our opinion
