Could you explain to us in the States what all this means?

the V5 is the registration document for the car. As you know, when you sell the car, you need to give this to the new owner. Also, since I imported my car from Ireland and the name of the cars are different in Ireland, then I thought I might have difficulty persuading the prospective new owner that my car is standard issue!
