I received the following from Arden regarding their Mesh grille and Wood panels for the centre console. Emile was very prompt with is emails. Just thought it might be of interest to someone out there.

Thank you for responding . You need to know the following facts concerning
the parts you want .

A) Wood panelling . As you can see from the pictures in internet , we make
all parts in wood and either match them to the standard veneer of the car or
redo completely the parts in the tone the customer wants . We try always to
respect the Jaguar philosophy and in this case we laminate real wood on top
of the OEM parts , then we lacquer many coats of clear coat to obtain the
right and durable finish . The catch is we need the parts in Germany to do
that and it takes about 3 weeks without the travel time . As we laminate on
the plate cover of the radio or navigation system , we need to dismantle the
complete set and covers are not available , only the complete radio or
navigation system , both to expensive to keep in stock as exchange parts ,
not counting the fact we never know the condition of the parts the customer
sends back ( new , scratched , working or not ) .There are also 4 different
versions of the central panel . So if you want some parts done , you will
need to send them to us and if you want to match an existing colour , join a
original wood panel of the car .
B) Mesh grill . Also here , the upper grill is a stainless steel mesh
insert polished and chromed which is fitted on the OEM radiator grill . We
can supply the complete grill already modified and you send us the original
back . I believe also here , the solution would be to discuss with your
dealer and have him modifying the grill with our assistance as the cost of
shipping the OEM grill back would be more than the OEM part.
