A BMW automobile is called a "Bimmer", the bike is a "Beemer".

No! The car is near perfect; just make puddle lights work, it is actually faster and quicker and better handling than the 330xi with has only 225hp and is NOT luxurious at all. Jag should not drop the price-29k is low enough - a Jag is not for ALL the masses-that's what that new c-class Benz is for! I don't want to see X-types in high school parking lots!!!

It is NOT faster than a 330i. I couldn't care less about how it does compared to a 330xi, because I'd never buy a 330xi - pay $1500 to make the car slower, right! 330i's & X-Type 3.0's don't sell for any 29K, either. Try $40K, with the same equipment as my current '98 328i. You may not want to see Jaguar sell a lot of cars, but I'm sure they feel otherwise. It isn't such a bad thing for owners, either, if you have any interest in aftermarket mods. What Jaguar intended the X-Type for was to convince Beemer drivers like me to buy a Jag instead. So, I gave 'em my 2 cents worth about how to do that - keep the Jag styling but get the performance to parity with the Beemer. Don't make us choose between style & performance - give us both!
