I have a 2.5 manual built 12/01 and agree with most of the points Barnacle Bill made in his reply. I would also like to see Heritage Tan offered in the US and the non-sport maple available in the X2 package.

My biggest irritation though, is with the US marketing approach for bundling options. While I understand the profit-driven motive for making the X1 package mandatory for any additional packages, it severely restricts my getting the car the way I want it. People put different values on the various option packages. It would be nice to be able to alternately order specific packages or features ala cart. I’d be willing to wait the time needed to build exactly what I want.

Yes, I’m already considering my next X in a couple of years, and hope I’ll have more flexibility when I order it.

Appreciate the opportunity to pass on my 2 cents worth.
