Martin,
What you used was the "global close" option. It is available with the key in the US. In Europe, you can use the key or the remote fob button.
There has been a lot of posting with regard to the availability of this option in the US. My dealer said it was NOT available in the US. (Of course, then he also said the passive arming was available. He is still looking for the directions on how that might be activated by the dealer.)
