Hi! I just got an X-type and I'm so happy with it!! This forum is great, and after reading through it, I've found answers to some of my questions!

Does anyone know what the recommend gas should be? The manual didn't make sense to me regarding this. What does Jaguar recommened??

Mine says right on the inside of the Fuel cover...which is the highest you can get...here in California it is 91 octane...the manual I have did mention this and said lower Octane could cause severe engine knocking...not worth it to me.
