My 2.5 doesn't have a light bulb (or electrical fitting for one) in its glove box. My dealer -- Rosenthal in Tyson's Corner, VA -- checked every X-type (both 2.5 and 3) in their inventory. None has a light bulb in the glove compartment. Someone on this list says his X-type DOES have a light in his glove compartment. What about the rest of you?

I was confused about this too until I read the manual. The glove box light only turns on when the parking lights or headlights are on.
