X-Type sun/moon roof bug... (archive)

I was not able to use the one touch feature of my sunroof, and the backwards pointing arrow did nothing.
I set up service and went to get a rental, when they called me back to the dealer and said it was just a "glitch".

If you are operating the sunroof when you turn off the car, it will trip-up the configuration of the sunroof mechanism.

The fix if you had, or have this issue:
Press the forward arrowed button until the roof angles UP to maximum height. Then let go, and depress the same button again, this time holding it for 20 seconds. The service guys said this resets the mechanism.

Pain in the A$$, but now I know...
