If I understand your question:

Tune to the frequency you wish. (You may have to press the up or down tuning buttons and hold them to "unlock" the scan feature to tune in to a frequency without a strong signal.)

Press and hold the number button you wish to store in and hold for a few seconds until it locks into that position.


Now if you are asking about how to do it on the touchscreen, perhaps someone else can help...
