Just an update on the fixes done on the Jag. To reiterate, the indicator stalk ceased to work, had the dreaded "whine", and the "check engine light" kept coming on. After exactly two weeks off the road, all is well. The service manager called earlier this week, to inform me that the driveshaft was "lost in shipment". Apparently, they are being shipped through the US, and are having a few probs. Anyway, no big deal. The work was completed yesterday, and road tested today. Some of you may recall that we live about two hundred miles from the dealer; Club Jag picked up the tab for the flat bed transport to the dealer, but were not willing to pay for transporting the car back to us. The dealer came through, again, and paid for it. Great bunch of guys. The car functions flawlessly. Keeping my fingers crossed. Can't say enough about the service department.
