After unlocking all the doors, press and hold both the Unlock and Lock buttons on the key fob for 10 seconds or so.

Then simply lock the doors and press the Unlock button once to unlock all doors.

To go back to two-stage opening (where you click once to unlock the driver's door and once again to unlock the remaining three) simply repeat the process.


Now, can someone tell us U.S. X'ers how to enable the express close option for the key fob???


I know someone mentioned this before, but I couldn't find the answers in the archives here or in other message boards related to Jaguar issues.

Can someone remind me how to make all the doors open when the open door button is clicked on the key fob? ISTR the answer was something to do with holding a few buttons down at the same time for a few seconds, or something like that
