I managed an 84 in a 65 in US1 south of Raleigh NC Wednesday... RATS!!!

The state trooper goes through his whole shpeel, then says... "I like your car... sharp color (pacific blue)!"

Good thing we in NC have the muligan known as a Prayer for Judgement... Basically a get out of jail free card once every three years (per household) if you have a clean record otherwise. If I can manage a few continuances, It'll be like it never happened, provided the judge is KEWL!!!!

Plead not guilty and fight it. You would only have to question calibration if it went to trial, you will most likely get a reduced charge via plea bargain.

What are the chances that I'll get a break if I fight it in court? Should I attempt to use the "when was the last time he calibrated his radar" trick? Do you think the judge would be sympathetic even though I'm driving a Jag?... Unless he/she is driving one, hmmmm........
