Well, you know you can turn it off altogether, just push the big round knob.

Then, you also have the option of pushing the little A/C button itself... once for OFF, once more for ON again.

I think you'll be too busy fighting off the chicks when they see you cruising in your Jag this summer to worry about the A/C.
