only have about 1000 miles, none of the problems you report.
What code did they read from the CPU when your check engine light came on? That ought to be easy to fix.

After having owned a 3.0 Sport for just over three months, and putting 3,000km on it, I wish I could report that I still love this thing. Unfortunately, I cannot. Thus far, it has been off of the road for almost three weeks for one thing or another. Here is an abbreviated list of the maladies: Trunk sticking, then wouldn't shut at all (adjusted, then mechanism replaced), hood not locking (adjusted), fuel filler door snapped off (granted, I broke this off, but from what I gather, not an isolated incident - dealer reports a recall on its way), "whining" sound with engine under load (dealer unable to isolate or fix), "check engine light repeatedly comes on (dealer unable to remedy), and now, most recently, the indicator stalk has packed it in - no signals, no high beam, but the button on the end for the trip computer is working. Granted, these are all fairly minor (I hope - the whining thing has the dealer worried), but considering the expense, and the "new Jag quality".... well, I just don't see it. I won't be buying another Jag anytime soon. Just my two cents. Hope others are having better luck.
