Just had my X-type in for service. I had the washer weeping problem solved by them easily - they put in 2 or 3 check valves in the lines. I also told them about the loose seat problem. Yours was the first post I've run across that also mentioned this. It seems to rock about 1/4 inch when acellerating or stopping. They said they checked other X-types on the lot and they had the same problem. So, they said there's nothing to fix unless Jaguar comes out with a service bulletin. "They are all like that"..... :-(


Recently took delivery of x-type....
great driving...

washer does "weep" and seat stability during quick stop is a problem...
