Thanks Jan,
My feeling on the trunk box was that it looked flimsy. Apparently the liner fits inthe trunk and goes up the side about 3 inches. Covers the entire trunk bottom and protects the carpet. We have a Volvo V70 Wagon and have one of them for the back and its the greatest thing. I thought it might be useful for the x-type.
The trunk tray won't fit if you have the optional stereo (the woofers get into the way.) I bought it and had to return it, but I have to note that it was really "lightly" constructed and won't hold much, either by weight or volume. I wouldn't buy it. Instead, I bought a plastic box (about the size of a "Bankers Box" and fasten it in using a rubber strap attached to the two forward tie downs. Holds everything I need (I'm rather well prepared.)I also bought the trunk carpet mat and like it a lot. Don't know about the "trunk liner."
Does anyone have any experience with these options ? Be interested in hearing on
the Trunk tray in particular.
Here in Canada my dealer is quoting me $194.50 Canadian ($120.00 USD) for the
Trunk Tray and $290.00 Canadian ($179 USD) for the trunk liner.
Thanks for any feedback
