i cant close the sunroof or windows with my remote. it only works with the key. My instruction CD doesent say anything about using the remote for this...

I just picked up my 3.0 X. Great car and the dealer was fantastic. The audio CD that came with car mentions that you can remotely close all windows and the sunroof by holding down the lock button on the remote. The key closes them but not the remote. Does this feature have to be activated? Or is it just an

I just listened to the CD again Track 28 Global Closing it says to Press and hold the lock button on the key transmitter for longer than than 1.5 seconds to close all electrically operated windows and the sunroof. I also remember the salesman demo of this feature on a different "X".
I will check with the dealer and let you know.


I just tried it, no luck with the remote!
