I agree with the other guys on this - gold wouldn't be a safe choice. However if you always park/leave the car in a very safe place and your car is black in colour that might be a different story...

I am having doubts about having one fitted now as it would probably invalidate the corrosion warranty. I am also very worried about theft - I would always be wondering if my car was safe :(
