Feedback on whether the Gold version is toooooo ostentatious ?

In my most humble opinion, a gold leaper is far too ostentatious and not only that, it invites vandalism. It shouts "grab me and twist me".
Of course, thats just one man's opinion. You see, an opinion is like a "you know what": everyones got "one" and their all full of you know what!

Has anyone fitted an Arden leaper to their cars? Do you think it is worth the hassle of having to find someone to fit it and the costs involved? What about attempted theft issues?
