Seems like my 20 odd is about right then....given the auto box and the extra 500 cc.

Both still a long way off the manufacturers claims although I must admit I hadn't considered the difference in US & sterling weights & measures!!

By the way, Jag UK told me not to trust the trip computer but work it out manually.

Drove from San Francisco to Los Angeles over the holidays and got 27.545 MPG for the round trip by dividing miles(909) by US gallons (33) used. Trip computer said 26.

Ooops...should have read NIGHT shift... I must be a bit cream crackered!

Any views/news on the claimed combined MPG of 27 claimed by Jaguar.

I have around 1500 miles on the clock now and the best I get is around 20 - 20.5 according to the trip comp.

Ok I drive reasonably hard, but hey, what's the point of having a Jag if you can't use it!

By the way I must be in love as I'm writing this on a noght shift in gloomy London having just zoomed it up the A1 during lunchtime!
