I would guess 99.9% of Jaguar owners like the leaper on the bonnet/hood. As for the paint quality, in my opinion, it equals or betters any paint finish on the market today. Beautiful. It's a joy to wash and wax.
As for colors, here are a few suggestions:
The Platinum shade is a little too blue. I would like a silver with more of a pewter tint. The current Lexus "Millennium Silver" (I think that's the name) is a good example. Since Ivory is the only light colored interior offered in North America with Platinum, and some of the trim is tan, I think the pewter color would be a better match. Another color I would like to see is a "candy apple red". Carnival is a little dark, except in bright sun. The PT Cruiser has a great metallic red that would look great in the X-Type.
Question: Is there a special technique in painting Emerald Green? It's amazing how it changes color depending on your viewing angle.
This is probably not in your area of interest, but I'll provide my wish list. I am disappointed that Jaguar does not offer the same exterior/interior color combinations in N.A. as in Europe. Here, the options are few, with only one or two interior colors for each exterior color, especially with the sport package.
Next, Jaguar needs to install memory seats in the X-Type, as well as standard DSC. There should also be a "Valet key" with a manual trunk lock so customers can place valuables in the truck and park where there is an attendant. Currently, there are only 2 keys provided, both with full remote lock/unlock functions.
Thanks again for the opportunity to provide feedback.

Do you all like the leaper?? Do you think it spoils the look of the car as it is in europe. If you had the option would you choose a leaper or plain hood???? Also how do you rate the paint job on the car??? Do you think there are enough choices of colour?? what colour would you like to see us produce???
