I'm really not a nice person.

Mike

Why don't you try and be a nice person?

These boards are meant for good, bad, and indifferent comments and feedback...I am simply posting my observations and feedback, as everyone else does. It isn't meant to be taken as law...I hope no one is dumb enough to make a purchase on others opinions alone. I have the luxury of owning many makes of cars not just one, so I am unbiased to one brand. I happen to be very fond of my Jaguar and the brand...that is why I dislike what FORD's ownership, while an asset in some areas, has hurt Jaguar's bloodline in others.

Just my observation...

Joe

By now we all know that you don't think much of the X-Type and that your XJR is getting a new tranny. Your needle is stuck in the groove. Why don't you change the record?

Mike

I can't appreciate the dash that vibrates and buzzes on 2 of the 3 loaner X Types I've had while my XJR was getting a new tranny.

Joe

The X-Type has the best paint of any production car short of another Jaguar?

And that the leather and wood materials in the interior are the finest available in any car?

And that the workmanship to trim that interior, with its impeccable stitching and hand fit seams mean that you're damned lucky to be able to buy a car of this caliber for this price?

The interior door handles are triple chrome-plated METAL (not plastic).

There have only been 1 1/2 Million Jaguars built in the entire HISTORY of Jaguar. It is still largely a hand built, and especially a hand finished automobile.

I for one can appreciate those details.
