I got my 3.0 sport in emerald just before Christmas. It's a really great colour and I think suits the Jag, particularly with the colour coded trim on the sport. It's really quite a dark green except in bright sunshine when it's a vibrant metallic green, and almost has a two-tone effect looking a bit blue from some angles. Because it looks different according to ambient light conditions people do mistake it for black or blue.

I really recommend it. Leave the blues and silvers for Beemers and Audis!


We're getting ready to order our 2.5.....has anyone seen one in Emerald?? Like the idea of a DARK metallic green but haven't been able to find one to see. Don't think we want it if it looks like a grass green in the sun. We have seen an XK8 convertible in Aspen green and would like to compare it to that.

Can anyone help??
