Have you reset your trip computer yet, or are you still reading the values from when you took delivery? I was getting 12MPG also for the first 100 miles, then I reset the thing, and now my mileage is fine. This may sound silly, but if you haven't reset your trip computer, do it.

Happy with my X-type but the numbers are in. I'm getting 18-19 mpg on the highway and a little over 12 in the city, without any hard driving. The only thing I'm going to make sure on the next tank is that the ac button is off (dealer recommended leaving it on year round), but other than that, I'd really like to swap notes about mileage. Car runs fine, no leadfoot driving, does this sound reasonable?
