I had a similar problem with my X-type 3.0 At 150 km/h the car was shaking. The dealer replaced the main axe (axe which connects the engine to the gear box) and this solved the problem.
My steering wheel still shakes a little when I'm driving 100, but I think this is a tire problem.

I have a 2.5 x-type with 5000 km and when I'm driving above 100 km/H I feel the car shacke.
I went to the Jaguar dealer and could not find the problem.
Does any one know about any factury problem related to this?
Why does the driving wheel shacke so much?
