Several have reported this, and indeed the door is flimsy. How exactly did you snap it off?

On a cold day I managed to snape off that flimsy fuel door on my X-Type. Has anyone else done this? Do you suppose the dealership would replace it at no cost?
Aside from that, I love my 2.5 manual!
