Did a very detailed inspection of it this morning, there is a crack in one of the plastic tabs that secures the battery cover. I could crazy glue it, but I guess I will mention it to the dealer when I take it back for the washer jets. And also, the manual mentions that the car should come with an audio CD explaining the functions. Where is it?

Prep on the car could have been a little better. There was hardly any wax on it at all, I just put a quick coat of Zymol on it. It really made some more of the complex pigments in the quartz color stand out, there are blues and greens and greys in it, we are really happy with the color.

We got the weather package, those headlight washer jets are insane. They wash the headlights all right, but wash most of the car too! I think they are designed to be used while the car is in motion, the air flow must help reduce the overspray.

Seats are very comfortable. Some of the complaints I've seen about the seats, and rear seat entry/exit are unfounded I think. I would tell those people to try sitting in the new A4. I could not find a comfortable front seat position in the A4, and rear seat exit is vey difficult because of a high sill. Engine, transmission and ride are very smooth so far.

Thanks for posting the pics. Yours is the first X-Type I've seen in Quartz. Great color. You should have a smile on your face for a long time. So far, does it perform as you expected (except for the washer nozzles)?

Just picked it up today. Unfortunately, I have the weeping windshield washer jet problem, even though I told the salesman about fixing this in advance, they did not! Everything else seems to be fine, although I will agree with others who have posted about the flimsy fuel filler door.

This is the new Quartz color that replaced Titanium, and it has the in dash CD.
