I paid the sticker price for mine, I didn't think it was worth the effort to bicker with them. I live in Fort Worth, Tx and my car was in Austin. They trucked it up overnight, no additional charge.

how far away is that other dealer? If these 2 dealers regularly trade cars, I would imagine you would not pay for this. This MSRP is a different problem, try another dealer in your area or a web service...

I am in St. Louis, MO. I appreciate the information. My salesman is indicating that they won't discount off of sticker for the 2.5, but I have not gotten into serious negotiation yet.

Also, the car I want is at another dealer and they will need to trade for the car. Do I have to pay for the delivery or should that be part of the deal? Thanks for the help.

We ended up getting $1900 off sticker on an X 2.5, X1, X3, in-dash CD, paint. What part of the country are you in?

I am looking at a 2.5, with the premium package, premium sound, and automatic. Salesman says they aren't negotiating the price on these cars. Is that true? Are you all paying sticker price on these? If not, what kind of deal are you getting? Also, can you install the wood trim kit yourself? Dealer wants to charge $1200 for it. Thanks.
