I'm in the UK, but bought mine through an dealer in Germany (to full UK spec) via Virgin's internet service (brilliant). This saved me about 10% on the UK price. The car was due in Feb 2002! but I was told production had ramped up and the build took place in early November (as far as I can tell). The chassis no. is just over 30000 which, as I understand it, pretty much gives you the car number off the production line. Of course, I don't know the delivery implications for the US of all this.

I placed my order on 8/8 but my build date was 11/1 because I waited for new color (Quartz).
Took delivery on 12/18 and still loving every mile! Good luck and happy driving to all new owners.... Joanne

Still waiting for mine..when did you place your order? Do you know what the build date was? What part of the US are you located? Thanks..

My 3.0 Sport manual came 2 days ago, what a Christmas present. Emerald/sand looks FANTASTC and what a ride! Not a squeak or rattle either. Beautifully put together.
