Even though my nozzles have stopped leaking, I'm not sure if it is a temporary or permanent situation. After talking to Jaguar, my service advisor looked under the hood of another X-Type to see if it had the control valve. It didn't and I failed to ask where it was located. I'm having mine installed on 1/2/02. If I were you, I'd have it taken care of rather that waiting to see if it will correct itself. Good luck.

Mike

I picked my car up my car recently and it too is doing the same thing. Since I read your message prior to picking up my vehicle, I knew that it was a problem and didn't get too upset when I noticed the fluid running down my hood. Although I must admit after I washed my car and took my time drying it, I was pretty annoyed to see that after driving it back home, fluid was oozing out of the nozzles, both of them. I wonder if left unfixed if the washer fluid would cause damage to the paint. Ken, or Mike, were do you find the control valve if I want to find out if my car has one, two, or three? and Mike, you said that your car is no longer doing that, if I ignore the problem, would mine(problem) also go away? Otherwise I'm just in love with the car! Thanks.
